Final Age Of Ultron Trailer Is Out!

5 Mar

ageofultron

The third and final theatrical trailer for next summer’s Avengers: Age of Ultron has been released by Marvel!

This is the first trailer that doesn’t center around the epic battle between Hulk and Iron Man (though it still comes crashing in). We do get a bit more insight into the relationship between Ultron and soon-to-be-Avengers Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver. But perhaps the most exciting moment is right at the end with our first glance of Vision!

Here are the first two trailers from Marvel along with our fan-made trailer. How close did we get?

Blaming the leak on Hyrda, Marvel Studios went ahead and released the HD version of their first official trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron, which was slated to air during next week’s episode of S.H.I.E.L.D.

While it’s a bit like opening your presents before Christmas morning, it’s hard to say that I’m not super excited for the first look and a darker Avengers movie that looks certain to please fans and kick ass at the box office.

The creepy music and James Spader‘s voice raises the hair on my neck every time I hear it! #nostrings

Our fan-made trailer got pretty close to Marvel’s- Spader’s voice is almost exact and we even had a Hulk vs Iron Man scene #humblebrag.

But now that the official trailer is here, it’s time to mark your calendars for May 2015 and get ready to assemble!

It’s been in the works for a while and now we’re proud to reveal our fan-made trailer for next summer’s blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron. There’s lots of internet speculation as to who might not make it out of this film alive. Will we see more of Thanos and the infinity gems? Or will Joss Whedon be laying the groundwork for the civil war storyline with Iron Man against Captain America? One thing that is confirmed is the addition of “miracle twins” Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver to the mad world of Marvel. In any event, we cannot wait so we had to make our own trailer to hold us over!

2012 Summer Blockbusters Preview [VIDEO]

2 Apr

So last year we put together a summer blockbusters preview for you. Basically we took all the other trailers, mashed them up, and made a fun trailer for you to get ready for the movies this year! Well we’ve done it again. Enjoy the (dubstep!) show!!

Official Avengers Trailer Released!

11 Oct

FINALLY! The wait is over for the first official Avengers trailer! Gone are the days of the infamous fan-made trailers with mere glimpses of Hawkeye and Bruce Banner for comic book junkies can now rejoice at the fully assembled Avengers cast. What else can we say other than it looks epic and just as awesome as we expected!

The Kibitzers was planning to re-release a special edition fan-made Avengers trailer next week to coincide with the DVD release of Captain America: The First Avenger but it looks like Marvel at the studio execs at Paramount had a similar idea. Now that there is a legit trailer out there, the glory days of our own fan-made trailer are probably behind us. Thanks to everyone who helped make it a quasi-hit on YouTube and to vehement critics out there… now that you can stop searching for the official trailer, we hope that you find peace, happiness and most importantly- a better way to spend your time.

In Memoriam: 2011 Summer Movies

31 Aug

Well it’s the end of August everyone, and as we turn our calendars to September we also turn the page on the Summer of blockbusters that was 2011. A lot of movies came into this year (many of which we previewed!) with tons of hype only to underperform, while others surprised and are still holding strong in the box office. We even had the same movie from 2009 come out again! So once again we employed our own Andrew Smith to take to the edit bay and make a memoriam. A way for the Kibitzers to say farewell to the Summer and give you the viewer a reminder of what movies did well — and what movies flopped.

So sit back and take in the movies, they are arranged from lowest opening weekend to highest. And before you get all technical and start complaining about us not taking in natural disasters or number of movie theaters it opened in, too bad — that would’ve been tons of work. Enjoy it for what it is. Try not to tear up as we go through the films either.

We even put together a great interactive visualization for you to play with…HERE!

New ‘Avenger’s Trailer Leaked!

18 Jul

When you go see Captain America, be sure to stay after the credits.

Ok well Hollywood is out in force today and have taken the video down just about everywhere, but let’s be honest here, would you rather watch a bootlegged trailer or (in my opinion) a much better trailer, made by our own Andrew Smith.

There’s actually a comment debate raging on this video about whether or not it’s real or fan-made, I think that is a huge compliment to Andrew. Well done!!
