You Make Me Feel… (feat. Sabi) – Cobra Starship

Two years ago, “Good Girls Go Bad” was my jam for a long time. Honestly, it was just because of Leighton Meester. Ever since then, Cobra Starship has been pretty quiet. With their fourth album coming out soon, they’ve decided to start making some noise again. “You Make Me Feel…” is a modern day pop song. Relying on a steady dance beat and catchy hook, this song is everything it was supposed to be – a dance track. I expect it to make its rounds on the radio and clubs. But in the meantime, dance to “You Make Me Feel…” here:

Stereo Hearts (feat. Adam Levine) – Gym Class Heroes

As Cruel as School Children had numerous hits, including The Queen and I, Clothes Off!, and of course, Cupid’s Chokehold…babadada! So when their album, The Quilt, underperformed and  Travie McCoy decided to go solo for a bit, I thought that the Gym Class Heroes were dunzo. But then they released this song and it’s not half bad. It reminds me of what made Gym Class Heroes so good. Smooth rhymes over smooth instrumentals that remind you of warmer weather. And this is it right here. With the silky voice of Adam Levine to help out with the hook, this song turned out pretty well and just in time for Summer. So check out “Steroe Hearts” below:

Love Letter (feat. The Cataracs & Dev) – Shwayze

Shwayze‘s “Love Letter” was an awesome Summer song that came out a little too late back in August 2010. But now it’s back and it’s actually better than the original. There’s nothing too different about this track other than it now has one of my favorites, Dev, helping out with the vocals. There’s just something sweet about her voice. I love that girl. The beat from The Cataracs is still solid and this song is still awesome. So let’s try this again and let’s listen to “Love Letter” with your windows rolled down this Summer:

Last Friday Night (Almighty Club Mix) – Katy Perry

Katy Perry tweeted out the official music video of “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” last night. This song, which is her next single off her newest album, is a fun, upbeat, “Katy Perry” type song. However, halfway through the video, a club remix was playing in the background and I was immediatley drawn to it. I just knew that I had to listen to that version. So after some investigating, I come to find out that she actually is releasing a small album with nothing but “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” remixes. I checked it out and there are really only two that are worth listening to. This one featured here and the other being the John Monkman & Johnson Somerset Remix, which was also featured in the middle part of the music video. So get your club or dub on and check out both remixes to “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)”:
