You guys remember Nelly, right? It’s been a while huh? After a couple lot of radio hits and a mediocre movie career, he’s back with another cd and a couple of new singles. I think the first single that got “leaked” was Tippin’ in The Club, which is riiiiddiiiculously catchy – seriously. This single though, is more along the lines of R&B and radio play instead of a “club banger.” This song kinda reminds me of Ride With Me. Maybe it’s the guitar part. And on another note, I wish Nelly tries to bring back yelling EI!! (remember that?). So check out “Just a Dream” and “Tippin’ in the Club” and determine whether or not Nelly’s comeback is going to be successful. EE-IIII!

So this song has been out for a while now, but I found it just recently. HEY, I’M TRYING HERE! But seriously, I can’t help but enjoy this because it takes hip-hop to it’s roots…..the 80’s. And I know a certain someone, *AHEM* Greg, will freak out about it because I just mention the ’80’s. Master Shortie raps about Patrick Swayze and the Thundercats, awesome. It’s just filled with 80’s themes that it’ll make your head spin. So wang chung tonight and check out “Bringing It Back”:

We’ve been featuring Usher a lot recently. It’s his fault for releasing these songs a few weeks before his follow-up album. The only difference here is that Jay-Z is on the track! ZOMMMGGG!!! So this Polow Da Don produced track, wait a minute mothaf***a, is really catchy (surprise surprise) and Jay’s part is, of course, is sooooo Raven. So check out “Hot Toddy” below and try to figure out what a ‘hot tottie’ is.:

[PS. A ‘hot tottie’ is a cider drink, served hot and mixed with alcohol. You’re welcome for the egg of knowledge I just dropped on you.]
DEEEEEEEEEJJJJJJJAAAAAAAYYYYY KKKHHHHAAAALLLLLLEEEEEEEDDDDDD!!!! Yeah, he produced this song. Bow Wow has been on music hiatus for a while, but I guess he’s trying to make a comeback. This song features the huggable Sean Kingston and is suitable for when you want to ‘rep da hood.’ I’m not too particularly gung ho for this song, but the beat isn’t that bad and, of course, the hook is what got me. So check out “For My Hood” and throw two up and two down to rep the big VA.:
