Monday Music Madness: “Choices” – The Hoosiers & “Maybach Music 2 (The Lost Verse)” – Jay-Z

The Hoosiers – Choices

Formerly known as The Hoosier Complex, The Hoosiers have redefined their original pop rock sound to an electric pop sound. This UK band is trying to break out into the mainstream and I think their song “Choices” is a great way for them to do it. Some of these bands in the UK sure know how to make catchy songs. Check out their “mainstream” song below:

Jay-Z – Maybach Music 2 (The Lost Verse)

Do I really need to introduce this guy? I’m pretty sure everyone knows Jay-Z. He’s not just a businessman, he’s a business…maaaaaaan. Anyway, Rick Ross released “Maybach Music 2” along with his third album, Deeper Than Rap. However, a couple of days ago, Jay-Z’s version of the song, with a “lost verse” was leaked. This could possibly have been the original version of the song. Ya’ll could’ve been anywhere in the world, but you’re here with me – so check it out. *Also, please don’t mind the extra crap that’s just thrown in throughout the song. This song wasn’t intended to be released so…)

Like that song? Check out Jay-Z: The Blueprint 3 (if you haven’t done so already)!

Bonus:

Usher -Lil’ Freak (feat. Nicki Minaj)

Now I know this is older, and we like to take pride in providing you guys with new music, but this song is way better than his new song that was just released. Usher‘s the album, Raymond v. Raymond, hasn’t been as successful has is Confessions album, but it has produced some good songs. Take “Lil’ Freak (feat. Nicki Minaj).” I mean, it’s better song than the American Idol-debuted song, “OMG (feat. will.i.am).” I mean, come on with the crowd yelling in the beat, will.i.am. What is this, Jock Jams from the 90’s?
