Monday Music Madness: “Over” – Drake & “Bulletproof” – La Roux

8 Mar

Drake already has his share of hits and to think, he’s only released a mixtape. “Over” is his first single from his official album, tentatively titled Thank Me Later. Will this song be as big as “Best I Ever Had”? “Forever”? Guess we’ll find out. Check it out below:

More after the jump!

Apparently this song is HUGE over in Europe. La Roux is an English singer who’s sound seems like it came straight out of the 1980’s. So if you love the music from that time, then I think you’ll enjoy this band. On a side note, she looks so much like Ron Weasley. Check out the video for “Bulletproof” below:

It saddens me to know that this song will probably be a huge hit. Much like a perfect storm of pop sensations, Sean Kingston and the aaaadorable Justin Bieber (*squeel*) have come together to make a song based on how five year olds, and college males, usually choose things. Check out “Eenie Meenie” below:

Wait you’re telling me about La Roux? (insert picture of iTunes info) – September 23, 2009. But still good. And I REFUSE to click Bieber. Awful.
