Thirsty Thursdays: Satin Angel and The Santa Claus

10 Dec

Hey everyone! We know Christmas parties are all over the place this time of year. Why don’t you make some of these Christmas themed concoctions!

Satin Angel

1.5 Frangelico
Half & Half
Splash of Soda
Cocktail Glass

  1. Add Frangelico
  2. Fill with Half & Half
  3. Add splash of soda

This is a great drink for holiday lightweights. It’s supposed to look like a White Russian, but a little lighter. You can also shake and chill it and put it in a martini glass.

The Santa Claus

0.5 oz peppermint schnapps
0.5 oz green crème de menthe
0.5 grenadine

  1. Pour the grenadine in a shot glass
  2. Layer crème de menthe on top
  3. Top with peppermint schnapps

These are shots for holiday drinkers. To layer the drink, you should use the back end of a spoon to ease in the liquor as it’s being poured in. This should not be mixed.

To make this drink a ‘Christmas Tree,’ simply switch the schnapps with Baileys.

If you want to learn how to make a drink, ask for it on the comments below and we’ll get that recipe up for you guys. Until next time, cheers!
