New Music Video: Kid Cudi – Pursuit of Happiness (feat. MGMT and Ratatat)

8 Dec

The new music video for Kid Cudi’s biggest song of his new album. “Pursuit of Happiness” features MGMT and Ratatat – neither of which make the cut in the video. However, Drake does? Listening to this song on the album I imagined so many things he could do with this song. So Cudi got director Brody Baker, who also did Animal Collective’s “My Girls” and produced by Josh Hartnett, who Cudi met during his work on the new HBO series How To Make It In America. All that work for slow motion champagne spraying…Needless to say, I was highly disappointed with the outcome of this video.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

But Greg the other people are in slow motion while Cudi is in real time. That’s deep man, that’s deep.
No yea its a big letdown. 3% of the scenes are good. Maybe next album
