Nazi Town of Twins in Brazil?

3 Dec

In the  small Brazilian town, Cândido Godói, deep in the country, there are, reportedly, 80 households in a one-square-mile area  with 44 pairs of twins. That’s over 1,000% more than the world average. Most of them have blond hair and blue eyes. There has been no explanation for this phenomenon. There are, however, different theories, including aliens and nuclear tests. A new theory, however, is rousing suspicion and interest.

The theory: Nazi war criminal and SS physician, Joseph Mengele, carried on Nazi experiments post-WWII and successfully created a town of twins.

In the early 1960’s, the  rate of twins in the mostly German town exploded. At the same time, reports and sightings of Joseph Mengele also started popping up in the same area. If proven, this theory would be crazy. How would the world view Mengele? That town? His experiments? Even his supposed “success”?

Check out the preview below for Nazi Mystery: Twins from Brazil. The episode airs Saturday, December 5 at 7pm.

This is awesome/crazy. Also, the documentary title sounds like a Tarantino movie title.
