Hubble Captures Another Stunning Image

19 Nov

This image was taken of NGC 4710 is an edge-on spiral galaxy located about 60 million light years away in the Virgo Cluster back in 2006 – however was recently released. Open up the 4000 x 2000 pixel one for the best view.

Scientists seem to be studying this galaxy to find out how galaxies are formed. Head over to Bad Astronomy and check out their post for more information (I don’t want to plagiarize!)
